The client wished to build accommodation for farm staff with a higher quality than their existing dormitory (shared facilities and multiple bed rooms), while still emphasing on the money spent.
Together, we have come to a model of accommodation with a minimum of common facilities in mostly one-room units with their own facilities.
These are complemented by several units with a separate bedroom for couples, administrators, or single-child families. The result is an object with two identical tracts purely residential, including an entrance hall with communications and the necessary common facilities.
The concept is inspired of the typology of local village buildings. The width of the roof or the shape of the roof optically does not deviate from the same parameters of the local cottages or barns. The commun hall is a lighted area without dark corners.
